The Best of Kaboom series consists of 8 short films:

• The Miracle – Nienke Deutz (15 min)
  The Miracle is a place where the sun always shines, with endless opportunities to relax and food in abundance. Still something is missing.

• Our Love is Immortal – Ender Yildizhan (4 min)
  A little boy worries about his parents’ relationship in a dystopian future. His father eases his worries through a song.

• Fox Tossing – Zénó Mira (8 min)
  A grim but fascinating portrayal of a now-forgotten aristrocatic pastime in 17th-century Europe, Fox Tossing zooms in on a cruel phenomenon that is emblematic of the hedonistic life of people in palaces.

• Melk – Niek de Leeuw (4 min)
  Melk is about the expectations of and realities of being gay.

• Ardent Other – Alice Brygo (16 min)
  A stunned crowd faces a fire. The threat has no name, a diffuse anguish spreads. A portrayal of human kind observing symbolic fires, possibly the burning of Notre Dame in 2019.

• All the Best – Pablo Roldan (4 min)
  What is weird, is based on a norm. Weird can be anything, and it can be funny, maybe confusing, but most of all it can be authentic. This animation takes those notions to make something new.

• Vivarium – Daan Lucas (9 min)
  Two gnomes are chased away by a flood of tears caused by a childish king. When they meet, the king starts playing with them and is happy again, but only briefly.

• Beautiful Men -Nicolas Keppens (19 min)
  Three balding brothers travel to Istanbul to get a hair transplant. Stuck with each other in a hotel far from home, their insecurities grow faster than their hair.
