The Via D’Amelio massacre in 1992 profoundly shook Palermo and all of Italy, resulting in the tragic death of Judge Paolo Borsellino and his security detail. “Paolo Lives” masterfully intertwines Borsellino’s relentless pursuit of justice, vividly portrayed by Bruno Torrisi, with the touching reflections of those who shared his courageous journey. Through intimate interviews, unpublished testimonies, and archival footage, this documentary not only honors Borsellino’s enduring legacy but also serves as a rallying cry for a new generation to embrace his values of integrity and courage. “Paolo Lives” is a powerful call to continue the fight against the mafia, keeping alive the memory of a man who sacrificed his life for the common good.
