Māori-led Mārama explores British colonial violence, cultural appropriation and cultural reclamation. Important themes wrapped in an Indigenous Gothic revenge horror film which points at the extreme violence colonial settlers inflicted upon Indigenous women (so be warned).
 
Imagine is the largest film festival for Fantastic film in the Netherlands, showcasing the best in fantasy, horror, sci-fi and everything in between. Imagine is all about the imagination. We believe dreaming big is best, because Weird Is Wonderful. After the 2025 festival, Imagine is touring the country with five favourites from this year’s programme. The Best of Imagine will be screened in Louis Hartlooper Complex on November 15th.
