Omschrijving

Een man wordt midden in de nacht wakker en hoort zijn stofzuiger hoesten. Het is het begin van een hoogst origineel en geestige filmervaring met romantische, absurdistische en politieke lagen. Na de dood van zijn vrouw is March ontroostbaar, tot hij tijdens een bezoek aan de fabriek van zijn moeder een bekende stem hoort. Nat, zijn vrouw, is teruggekeerd als geest, in de vorm van een stofzuiger. Maar omdat de fabriek al langer geteisterd wordt door rancuneuze klopgeesten, staat zijn familie niet achter de onconventionele liefde. Stofzuigergeest Nat schiet te hulp en zorgt ervoor dat de fabriek weer open kan. Wanneer ze door mensen hogerop gevraagd wordt om ook ‘niet nuttige’ geesten te verjagen, gaat Nat te veel mee in de plannen van de corrupte elite, waardoor ze lijnrecht tegenover March komt te staan.

A man wakes up in the middle of the night and hears his vacuum cleaner coughing. It is the beginning of a highly original and witty film experience with romantic, absurdist and political layers. After the death of his wife, March is inconsolable, until during a visit to his mother’s factory he hears a familiar voice. Nat, his wife, has returned as a ghost, in the form of a vacuum cleaner. But because the factory has long been plagued by spiteful poltergeists, his family does not support the unconventional love. Vacuum cleaner ghost Nat comes to the rescue and ensures that the factory can reopen. When she is asked by people higher up to also drive away ‘non-useful’ ghosts, Nat goes along too much with the plans of the corrupt elite, causing her to end up in direct opposition to March.
